Wowzers !!  What a gorgeous building this one turned out to be!!  The 40′ x 60′ footprint is a great size to work with.  We actually STOCK 40′ Roof Trusses in our lumberyard!  Color combination turned out great, but check out that biG ol’ 20′ wide split sliding door in Black.  Talk about making a statement!  But your eyes don’t have to travel far to pick up that cool partial lean to roof.  We love buildings that scream Individuality and this one doesn’t disappoint.  The Lean To Roof is what we call “Below Eave” because it starts down on the wall as opposed to up at the roof line.  This makes the space underneath way more comfortable for sitting or hanging out.  This customer opted for a nice white metal ceiling so I’m sure they’ve already got some nice porch furniture in mind for this one 😉

But the really neat part of this building lies beyond the entry doors.  Check out the loft area inside.  It runs the entire 40′ depth and comes out 20′ !!  That’s 800 sq/ft of additional floor space they picked up!  We installed stairs and railings to keep everything where it’s supposed to be up there.  What a cool design!  With 2×12 Southern Yellow Pine floor joists spaced at 16″ o/c and a 3/4″ Sub-floor, this mezzanine can carry it’s weight!  Give us a call today to discuss your building needs.  And if you’re on the Eastern Shore, call Troy Wallace in Seaford at 717-201-3957.
