Here’s a nicely laid out commercial building. Utilizing and maximizing square footage space vs costs can be challenging in today’s economic environment. So take advantage of our 40 plus years of experience and let us help you navigate the terrain. This customer needed 2 pretty good sized garage doors. One needed to be 20′ wide!! When you place garage doors on the gable end, you eliminate the need for costly header systems. All roof loads are transferred through the eave wall headers and posts to the concrete footers. Placing a biG 20′ wide overhead door such as this on the gable end saves time & money.
Due to the 16′ high ceiling, a 4′ height of wainscoting metal was chosen. Statistically it’s a fact that if siding is ever damaged, it happens in the bottom 3′ or 4′. In commercial applications such as this where there’s equipment operating and people moving in and about the structure, a wainscoting is highly recommended. One that is aesthetically is typically a 1/4 of the wall height.
